About Hydrelle™ Facial Injections

Hydrelle is a soft, malleable injectable hyaluronic acid gel designed to reduce facial wrinkles that can immediately adds a natural fullness and reduces the unwanted wrinkles. Safety & Side Effects for Hydrelle™ Facial Injections

Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less). The most common side effects include, but are not limited to, temporary injections site reactions such as: redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration. As with all skin injection procedures there is a risk of infection.

Recovery Time for Hydrelle™ Facial Injections

Immediately after the treatment, there may be a slight redness, swelling, tenderness or itching sensation at the treated area. This is only normal cause of the injection and the inconvenience is temporary, it generally goes away in a day or two

Pain
Hydrelle contains 0.3% lidocaine, for patient comfort, however, your injector may use ice or a topical anesthetic to numb your skin prior to injection. Pain during Hydrelle injections is different for each patient depending on their sensitivity to pain. Most people report that the injections are relatively painless.

Before Treatment Instructions
No skin-testing is necessary, but Hydrelle is not for patients with sulfite allergies (i.e. red wine, dried fruit, etc). If you regularly take anti-inflammatory medication, blood thinners, alcohol or green tea, discuss this with your physician, as they can increase the chances of bruising.

After Treatment Instructions

  • Ice may be applied to the injection area. If swelling, redness or bruising persists, please contact your physician.
  • You may take arnica (under the tongue) every two hours for the first day or two if any bruising occurs
  • Avoid alcohol.
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory drugs for 4 hours post injection.
  • Avoid sunbathing or UV exposure.
  • No skin peels for one week
