Did you know Gordon Ramsay is a Botox user?

Gordon RamsayGordon Ramsay, 43 year old host of the television shows “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” and “Hell’s Kitchen”, has confessed to using occasional Botox injections on his chin. He says, however, that his use initially stemmed from “American Idol” judge and A&R executive Simon Cowell’s comment about his chin. After that incident, he noted that “…more and more people were commenting on my chin.” He began getting Botox shots soon after and was certain that no one had noticed them.

In fact, he pointed out that when talking to his mother, “… she said, ‘Keep your chin up’. I said, ‘Yeah, well at least I’ve got a new one of those’, but it went over her head.” Of course, Ramsay may not have known that Botox injections are usually used to freeze muscles that cause wrinkles, not to fill wrinkles out. As a result, it is not surprising that few people noticed his treatments. Ideally, his choice would have been a dermal filler. Restylane, Juvederm or the newest filler on the market, Hydrelle, would have been effective for the kind of treatment he was looking for. Hopefully, someone will soon fill Ramsay in (pun intended) on the proper treatment for his problem.
