Medi-Spas and Cosmetic Surgery Warnings

August 29th, 2008 by Epione

Doctor Simon Ourian joins a national public safety campaign to warn consumers about safety issues surrounding cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Restylane and Laser Skin Treatments. There has been an increase in the number of patients who come in with everything from no improvement to unwanted side effects from treatments they received at these so called Medi-spas. Undergoing cosmetic procedures performed by someone who’s improperly trained can result in scarring, burning and, in some cases, even death.

At Epione Medical Center, like most reputable medical practices, all treatments are performed by a physician or registered nurse.
