One area of the body that gives away a person’s age more than any other area is the hands. A young person has youthful, young looking hands. Radiesse is a dermal filler that incorporates calcium hydroxylapatite suspended in a gel. Sometimes after a treatment there is slight redness, tenderness, swelling or an itching sensation. However, these mild side effects typically disappear after one or two days.
Then there is Coolaser which is an advanced laser treatment that is effective for all skin tones. Treatments usually take only 10 to 15 minutes. How does it work? The areas of the hand that need to be treated are cooled with a numbing cream and cool air. Then a rapid pulse laser is flashed over the areas. After the laser, the areas get a moisturizing cream that is applied for healing.
